Mission: Defense of the homeland. Exploration into dangerous areas. Being generally badass at all times.
These guys are basically a full on adventuring party of badasses who can be deployed for homeland defense and exploration. They will deal with the most serious dangers that Knallhart and Team Overkill are unable to deal with (or aren’t really appropriate for the higher level characters).

Mission: Gather Information, remain undetected. Most important things include national interests, military production and movement, social structure, factions among the nobility, and any critical weaknesses or strengths that may become apparent.

Skilled Liar (Spy) +1 Bluff when deceiving someone.
Gladhandling (Street Performer): Earns double the normal amount made from Perform checks.
Disappearing Act (Street Performer): Diverts attention from ally. All creatures within 30 feet that fail a Will save (DC 15) treat one creature chosen by bard as if it were invisible.
Roles:Archivist researches pertinent information with the help of the rest of the cell. The Street Performer function as the ears on the ground, listening to folk on the streets and in taverns, getting a feel for the mood, reasons for tension, trends, whatever. They are also on hand to provide distractions in the event of a dangerous-type mission. They also earn more for performing to help supplement the income of the group. Court Bard will attempt to impress minor nobility or rich families. Investigator and Archivist will run a small business, something that brings them into contact with lots of people. Spy will try to gain employment in an official capacity, to a minor noble house of a prominent businessman. The idea is that they’ll be in varying positions of influence or awareness, able to help each other out if the need arises.

Mission: Primary missions as assigned by any local intelligence group that contacts them with coded orders. Shadowing, Retrieval, Burglary, Pick Pocketing, Key Swiping.
Secondary: Gather Information on underworld, merchants and minor nobles.

Measure the Mark (Cutpurse): Target makes Perception before Sleight of Hand check, the rogue knows the Perception check result and can decide to make the check based on the target’s result.
Eye for Detail (Detective): +1 Knowledge (local), Perception and Sense Motive checks, and Diplomacy checks to gather information.

Invariably, the halfling is disguised as a child. The Investigator and Spy provide intelligence about the target or location to be pilfered or watched. Otherwise, they keep an ear to the ground and try not to make too many waves as they observe the criminal element and minor nobility.

These traveling cells function as coordinators and specialists for delicate recovery or infiltration that the main teams are unlikely to pull of unscathed. Bard and Investigator gather intelligence, Cutpurse helps Ninja acquire important items for whatever the mission may be (keys and such).

The gleemen are crucial for communication between the unconnected cells. They travel between large towns, gathering information personally from the small towns along the way. Whenever possible, when traveling between locations they will join a caravan, singing for their supper and subtly spreading the values of Arcadia through song.
